Besbrode Pianos offers a range of restoration and repair services. Whether you require a full Steinway rebuild in Germany, in house repairs at our Leeds workshop or a technicians repair in your own home, we can guide you to the best service for your needs.

A Steinway piano rebuild invloves transporting the piano to Germany to be rebuilt by qualified Steinway approved, Academy trained technicians using 100% Steinway parrts. All Steinway components used in the rebuild are brand new. Cabinets are polished / polyestered to the highest standard at the Steinway Inam factory. Action, Strings, Bridges, Pin Blocks, Tuning Pins, Dampers are all brand new. Keyboard is repolished and key tops are replaced with a selection of top quality plastic, ceramic or reclaimed ivory.
Individual repairs of your Steinway piano can be undertaken instead of a full rebuild. See below.

2. In House Restoration at our UK Workshops

Arthur Bliss' Bluthner piano required a complete restoration: Case stripped, restained and repolished. All strings replaced. Soundboard repaired and revarnished where necessary. Frame coated. Replacing tuning pins. All hammer heads renewed. Felts and leathers and dampers replaced. Restringing the instrument. Keys Tops cleaned or replaced. Tuned, Cleaned, Regulated.

3. Technician to Repair your Piano in your Home
For some minor repair work, technicians can be sent to carry out work in your home. This includes sticking keys, sticking action, broken hammers, replacing strings, squeeky pedals, regulating, key top repairs. When you contact us to discuss the problem with your piano, we can assess whether a technician can be sent out to you.
