Description

Brand New Steinberg

Brand new, Wilh Steinberg WS-D275 concert grand piano with a black case and brass fittings. The lid stay features indented half props to allow the piano lid to be open at different heights. The spade piano legs have dual casters and brakes for ease of movement. The three-pedal piano lyre has two square spindles. The piano cheek displays the maker's monogram and name. The interior of the piano is in contrasting bird's eye maple.

This concert grand piano has been in residency for the past year at York Minster throughout its once-a-century organ renovation project.

Wilh. Steinberg

Wilh. Steinberg is a piano manufacturer in Eisenberg, Germany. The company was founded by the Geyer family in 1877 in Eisenberg, Germany. After the reunification of Germany the company merged with several other East German piano companies. In 2013, Wilh. Steinberg was bought by Parsons Music Group, a company based in Hong Kong. Parsons Music Group has become China's largest music retailer with more than 100 retail locations and 80 music schools all around the country.
