Ref 3178: Louis XV Style, Steinway Model S Baby Grand Piano in Walnut

Louis XV Style, Steinway Model S baby grand piano for sale with a polished, walnut case. Entire cabinet features carved, Rococo style, ornament. The cabriole legs with scroll feet are carved with an anthemion and acanthus. The two-pedal piano lyre is formed from two S-scrolls with a central anthemion. The music desk has a carved border with C-scrolls and acanthus motifs. Exquisite cabinetry within a small footprint. Louis XV style moved from the heavy grandeur of the Baroque period evident during the Louis XIV period and gave way to a lighter and more romantic aesthetic of the Rococo. This curved, flowing, asymmetrical outline suited the comfort and intimacy of Parisian townhouses.

What people say about us..

Love and want to own all the pianos if I got enough money :p Bought a second-hand one with a fair price. The shop keep the quality very well. I also bought a piano lamp from Cocoweb, which fit very well and makes a new better look to my piano. Suggested!
Emily T

Friendly and helpful staff and an incredible choice of great pianos. Finally realised a lifelong ambition to own a Steinway! Thank you!
M S

An amazing Alladin's Cave of a place, filled with pianos antique and modern over several floors of a huge old warehouse. Besbrode also host events - I'm just returning from one, where a group of pianists performed to each other on a Steinway generously provided for the occasion.
David B

Brilliant shop, beautiful pianos and great service. An amazing range of pianos, prices to suit everyone. From student and family pianos to frankly, unique works of art. Just go there, a really special place.
S M

Came here as a side trip when attending the Leeds Graduation ceremony. Ann and Steven were really helpful and gave honest advice. Theres no hard sales here and your left to literally try as many pianos as you like. They don't rush you to buy and let you find the right piano which is what all piano shops should do! There is a huge selection of pianos here and i would recommend this establishment
G C

Amazing Beethoven concert this afternoon with Jeremy Russell and what an amazing, quirky venue....don't want to miss any future events !
I S

Fantastic piano hire service! We'll definitely come back when getting a grand piano for the (pianist of the) house.
L B

If you know or like or love pianos, you'll never want to leave! Astounding choice.
J A

Had a fantastic experience. Dad got exactly what he wanted. Steven was very understanding and helpful. And therefore you had a satisfied customer.
K M

Great customer service buying a piano stool. Very happy, thank you!
L S

Very impressive collection of pianos. Definitely much more than the average piano shop and worth a look. It was really hard to make a choice. Eventually I went for a rebuilt Steinway. 5 years warranty and rebuilt with Steinway parts from a Steinway approved company gave me peace of mind. I am delighted with my new piano. The sound is absolutely superb. I highly recommend Besbrode Pianos.
C B

We had a lovely experience looking for a second hand piano. Steven is very knowledgeable and gave us space and time to make a decision with no pressure to buy. We loved exploring the vast array of pianos in the collection.
C B

Couldn’t recommend enough. The prices were very fair, and the finished product was pristine. Steven was a pleasure to work with as well. If I ever hear of anyone looking for a piano, I always send them his way. Simply wonderful.

We ordered a Japanese-made Yamaha baby grand piano from Besbrode after a lot of research. Besbrode were by far the best when it comes to communication, information, and choice. They had by far the biggest choice and the prices were not as inflated as with some of the other suppliers. The communication was quick and faultless. The instrument exceeded all our expectations. We had had several professional musicians play it since and they all have agreed that this is a superb quality piano.
T L

Fantastic piano shop. Huge selection of pianos ranging from all different prices to fit ones needs. Steven was very patient and open to discuss about pianos. Doesn’t force you to buy. Very relaxed place. Strongly recommend. Also there are rare Steinways :)
D H

Quiet and peaceful place full of atmosphere. A delightful experience
